How long does it take to sort out something as basic as this?

I see that it is usually you who responds to posts, and that you work on the functioning of the software rather than on the content. Is anyone working on the content, and why are they being so slow?

All the best

Mike

RE: Query re daily lectionary

Mike

This will be possible soon (the lectionary at least, not sure about the readings); I am attending a meeting later this week to discuss the work, so it is in progress.

Tim

RE: Query re daily lectionary

Is it possible to access the daily eucharistic lectionary, even if not the full text of the readings it contains (though that would be very nice, and I thought that was one of the things I was paying for)?

RE: Query re daily lectionary

Thanks Tim.
No, my problems are entirely content-related. Or rather absence-of-content-related. A reply - if not from the people we actually want to hear from. Please, CHP: WHEN will we get the full daily lectionary functionality which we were promised and have paid for? And, as a matter of interest, HOW LONG do you consider it reasonable to wait for a reply on such matters?

RE: Query re daily lectionary

The answer is that the daily lectionary in VL is work in progress. It is being worked on and will be updated. That said, it is always helpful to have reports when it does not work as expected. I'm following this up with CHP - my speciality is the software itself, as opposed to the liturgical content.

Tim

RE: Query re daily lectionary

Was that on this topic? This thread is being ignored by the administrators. So are my personal e-mails on the subject. Not only is VL failing to live up to promises and expectations, but the online support seems to be very poor indeed.
Please, someone: When will we have all the authorised lectionaries fully accessible as we were led to believe would be the case?
