Hi,

There is a huge list of hymns, songs and other material under sources. I cannot understand how to incorporate a hymn into my service. Please can someone give me the procedure.  Thank you

Linda

Start a new service in the normal way. Let's assume you chose A Service of the Word. When the service opens, you can either use the Overview or the Detail view. We'll use the Detail view. Click the Detail view tab.

In the Liturgy of the Word section, there is an item called Hymn or Song, with a yellow box to the left. Click the yellow box.

A dialog called Choose a text for Hymn or song opens. If the service date is a Sunday, you should get pre-selected choices. In either case, you can do a search. For example, search for:

foundation

Several hymns with the word foundation in the title appear. Click on the first one, which on my system is Christ is made the sure foundation, so it is highlighted. Then click Select item.

Now you will see that hymn in the service.

Tim
