A few of them already have an old version of VL (VL4 mainly), and I understand that, if they wish to keep their data, they need to do a backup first.  However, I do not have an old version myself to test the procedure.  Can you please give me some simple guidelines on:

1)  How they backup their data?

2)  More importantly, how they then restore the information once VLL is safely installed?
