Sorry if this is an FAQ but how does one copy a service and associated templates to another PC?

We have everything set up the way we want on one machine but want to copy it to the other team licence holders.

All the data about services, templates etc is stored in the VL data directory. You can copy this to another machine and either overwrite the existing data directory (presuming VL is installed) or else use File - Change Database to point the other VL to a copy of the data.

A convenient way to get a copy of the VL data directory is with the File - Backup facility. If you do this, make sure you uncheck the option to the compress the data - or if you do compress it, make sure you uncompress before trying to use it.
