I'm running Visual Liturgy Live 5.0.3041.11329
Whenever I do a registry scan there are two registry entries which my registry cleaner tells me are invalid:

Open with Application Issue C:\Program Files\Visual Liturgy Live\VisualLiturgy4.exe %1 HKCR\Visual Liturgy Lectionary Plan\shell\open
Open with Application Issue C:\Program Files\Visual Liturgy Live\VisualLiturgy4.exe %1 HKCR\Visual Liturgy Service\shell\open

When I choose to repair them, the next time I start Visual Liturgy Live I receive an error message:
Error in custom action: Failed to set data for 'ConfigPath'

Visual Liturgy then launches okay, but the next time I do a scan of the registry I receive the same two re-created entries. This is not a problem, just an irritation. Is there anything I can do to resolve it?

Thanks

I guess the first question would be "what registry cleaner are you using?"

It sounds to me more like a problem with that than with VL. Is there any way that you can configure the registry cleaner to ignore the VL items? Failing that, my suggestion would be to just ignore those particular warning messages when you run your registry cleaner in future.

I run two different registry cleaners from time to time and they both pick up the invalid entries. I can and do choose to exclude them from the fix or repair options but I'd like to know what's causing them to appear in the first place. I think it's probably associated with when I had to load up VL Live on a new PC with a special key, because I couldn't pre-load VL4 or any previous version - having had VL right from the start, every version since the first floppy disk has been an upgrade and the new PC didn't have a floppy disk drive. I guess a simple change to the register entries is all that's required, but I don't know precisely what that should be.
Thanks for the reply anyway,
