How do I save a Christingle Service from Times & Seasons? VL only lets me save as a template even though I have unchecked the undated service box.

Hi

The problem you describe affects not just the Christingle service template but ALL templates in the Times and Seasons folders.

I think that there needs to be a small program fix, so that if you untick the undated service box and select a date, the program will then allow you to save the dated service.

In the meantime, there is a way around this problem:

1. Create your Christingle Service (or other T&S service) from the template.

2. Untick the "Undated service" box and select the date that you want

3. Once the service has loaded, click on "service properties" (in the "service" drop down menu). Select "Options" and there you will find, under "General Options" a box labelled ""Undated Service", which will have a tick in it. Remove the tick and then click on "OK".

You will now be able to save your dated service.

Hope this helps!
